Dear Mama Miki--

We're back already!  We took a short walk today because my mom and dad were getting cold!  (I, of course, would have liked to have gone several miles!)

Editor's Note:  Willy was VERY happy to get back to a warm house!  He promptly jumped up on the back of the couch, turned on the lamp with his nose and settled down to have a nap!  Bob thinks he turns on this "touch" lamp by accident--but I think he does it quite on purpose!  It gives off a little heat--which he basks in!
                                                                                                     NRW

I like to go up the street and back to see what everything looks like with snow on it.
The bushes and cars  look very big and puffy and the fire hydrant looks like it's wearing a hat! I also enjoy "snuzzeling" my nose way down in the snow to see what I can sniff--maybe a mouse or a squirrel--If only I could get off the leash and really chase down my prey!                                                                                          Hope you'll say "hi" to Papa Kansas and Grandpa Phoenix from me.
L.O.L.
Willy

Hi Grandma Miki
Dad said to look at you and say hi. Dad says we are practicing for a dog
show. He says I have to stand tall and look pretty for the judge. Whatever
that's all about. Loose lead training is going well. I like that because
it does not hurt my neck and I walk pretty. We are going to Michigan this
Friday. Fletcher my best friend is going with me. Fletcher teaches me cool
stuff like digging holes and chase bunny tracks with our noses. Tell
everybody I said hello and I miss them but I am doing okay. Wish me luck.

Miss Ex Molly

Dear Mama Miki,

Since my daddy is Kansas, I want to know what WD/BOW/BOV means.
It sounds important!!
I am still doing fine.  Mom and Dad had the carpets cleaned today.  (The carpet cleaners shined a light on the carpet and --like magic--all my piddle spots showed up "blue!" ) They all got cleaned up and disappeared!! (Mom and Dad are so proud of me because I have learned to "piddle" in the back yard.)

Mom is still trying to learn how to send some pictures of me to you.  Maybe tomorrow when George comes over.

Keep in touch.

Love and lots of licks,

Willy

Dear Mama Miki,

It's been a few weeks since I wrote to you.  I'm keeping things lively here at my house in Spokane.  Mom and Dad are still trying to convince me to take care of "all my business" outside in the back yard.  I'm getting better about that, but sometimes I get excited or "forget" and
make "a mistake".  I take lots of Willy Walks out back and also around the neighborhood.  Almost every day I meet a new friend along the way.  Today I met Skipper, a little cairn terrier puppy.  She was very friendly and she made me feel very big and tall!  Two nights ago a weimaraner
pup named Mojo came running out after me and kind of scared me.  I tried to act brave, but I was glad Mom and Dad were with me. They made Mojo go back to his house.

I've been to the vet and gotten a shot and I'm going back for another one in October.  The day after I went to the vet, I was playing in my yard while Mom and Dad were doing yard work.  For some reason, I was  sniffing and snuzzeling around in the bark and I found a rock.  I decided to taste it and  I accidentally swallowed it! Mom and Dad didn't know about it until I "barfed" two times during the night.  Then They thought I might have swallowed my dog I.D. tag.  Since it was Sunday, they took me to Pet Emergency Clinic and the vet took a picture of my insides and told Mom and Dad that the tag wasn't in there, but a big rock was in my tummy!  They gave me medicine to try to get me to throw it up, but it didn't work and then that night the vet told them that I needed to have surgery!!  Mom and Dad were really upset and worried.  I was scared too, but the vet gave me medicine to make me sleep and before I knew what was happening, the surgery was over and I had a little line of pink stitches up my tummy (I wished they'd used blue thread!)  Anyway, Mom and Dad came early in the morning and got me and took to the other vet clinic for the day.  It wasn't fun.   I had to wear a weird looking cone around my neck so I wouldn't bite at my stitches.  Mom and Dad were so worried about me and wanted me to come home.  I did get  to go home that night and they let me sleep with them instead of in my crate because my cone didn't fit in there!  Now I'm all better and my stitches are out, but Mom and Dad are worried about me eating another rock, so they won't let me roam around the yard anymore without being on a leash or a chain!

I still get to play with my toys--but I lost my blue lizard!  I left it outside one night and an owl or a cat carried it off!  (Mom found a green gecko at a pet store though, so I play with that quite a bit now. It's sort of like my lizard. )

Mom and Dad had a Puppy Party last week.  They invited some of their friends over for dinner.  Mom had designed Welcome Willy cake with  a picture of me on the top. The guests all enjoyed that for dessert, but I didn't get even a little crumb because it was a chocolate cake! (Bummer!)  Anyway, I enjoyed meeting new friends and they all liked me too.

I hope everything is going well at Sausage Stables.  I miss you and
all the "doxie gang" there.

Mom showed me a picture of Grandpa Phoenix "sleeping after a long day".
What were all those cans doing all around him??

I hope to hear from you soon.

Love,

Willy Wilkens

Dear Grandma Miki,
We have a game we play here. My sister taught me that it is fun to chase water as it trickles away from you. You can stick your nose in front of it or jump on it to make it stop. Well, today mom was cleaning the swimming pool and all the water trickled off the driveway onto where there used to be grass. ( I think my sister ruined that.) She started digging a hole in front of the water and I just happened to be coming along behind her to check on the job. The next thing I knew, the water was gone, but the dirt was really thick! I kept digging to see if I could find the water for my sister. I had an 8 inch deep hole and still could not find that water. I have no idea where it went. Then my mom found me and my sister. We both had to take baths. Boy did we have fun! I jump right into the swimming pool now. Do you like my photo? Dad said I was "nothin' but a hound dog".

Love and licks,
Bethany

Dear "Mama Mikki",

Yes,  Mom, Dad and I arrived at my new home after a very long car ride.  (I kept wondering why the vet was soooo far away!)  I'm having lots of fun and learning lots of things. I found out that I can walk right under motel room beds and scare Mom and Dad!! ( They thought I'd decided to
run back to you at the Sausage Stables!) I also found out that lots of people want to play with me and talk to me when I take a "potty break" at rest stops---especially kids!  Since I've been at my new home, I'm enjoying my new bed and my toys and meeting new friends.  Mom and Dad are thinking that it's a good idea for me to "piddle and poop" in the back yard instead of in the house--(They were not really too happy when I piddled right in the MIDDLE of the living room as soon as I got home! ) They're trying to get me  to "take care of business" outside. (If I make "a mistake", Mom puts some "Miracle Spray" she bought at Petco on the spot.  (She has to go back today and buy another bottle.)   I have what they call "Willy's Enclosure" in the kitchen which is where I stay if they go away.  I watch T.V. while they're gone.  They don't go away for very long because I get lonesome when they're gone and they miss me too. I like to take walks in the neighborhood on my lead --Mom says it's more like a "follow"!  I'm meeting neighbors  and other doggies too.  The dogs next door brought me a "welcome to the neighborhood gift" of some "Appawtizer" dog treats.  Relatives and friends are stopping by to meet me and I think I'm going to like it here.  (( I miss the "puppy pile" though.  Mom and Dad do pay lots of attention to me, but I'm the ONLY puppy in the pile here!)  I hope Molina and Kansas and all my brothers and sisters  and cousins miss  me too.  Tell them all "woof woof " from me.  I'll keep in touch. I hope you'll e-mail me too.

Love, Willy  (a.k.a. Camo)

Dear Mom,

I have missed you. I like my new mom and dad, but things are different here without other Sausage dogs to play with. I was a little afraid of the big dogs here because all I could see was feet and belly hair. I have become friends with them and even chase the black one all over the yard. It is such good exercise. And I have learned to go under things to ambush her as she goes by. There are nice porches to play under and I love to go under there and stay for a long time. There are leaves under there and I just roll in them and come out covered in dirt. I want to go in the garden also, but my new mom keeps blocking me out with a gate. I almost have a whole dug so she can't keep me out! I don't like her big machine that makes noise, but I sure would like to help her dig that dirt up. Every time I get a chance to help I dig nice little holes for her to plant in. My mommy calls my name when I dig little holes in the front yard.

Thursday my new mom got out an enormous bath tub. Then she hooked the hose up to the house and those silly Great Danes ran over and jumped right in that bath tub. I kept my distance....then she grabbed me and I got a bath too. I was so excited when I got out I ran all around the yard. It was really hot, so it actually felt good, but I won't let her know that.

I wake my new Daddy up about 5:00 every morning so he can get me a chicken wing. If he doesn't get out of bed I lay on his throat up by his beard and roll over on my back. My mommy sleeps late and they keep closing the door! I used to go running in there every few minutes and kiss my mommy, but she likes to sleep in. So I stand at the door and cry and bark so she knows I'm keeping an eye on her. When she gets up I usually spend as much time as I can sleeping in the recliner with my new Daddy. He LOVES to nap and so do I! I fit perfectly beside him in the chair. The other day he asked where I was then realized I was nuzzled in beside him really tight. I like both of them, but he is my favorite. I think it's because he like to nap so well.

I'm learning to use the computer. When someone sits down at the desk I jump on the couch, usually over the Danes, and walk over and sit on the desk. Sometimes the screen goes blank and sometimes weird stuff comes up on the screen. They keep saying its my fat butt hitting the buttons. I don't have a fat butt! I'm nice and slim. I also like to walk on the keyboard to get in their lap or else I just bat at them with my front feet. I get lots of kisses if I stay there. My mom even made a padded mat so my tummy won't get cold on the desk.

I'm starting to find more toys to play with. I have a bag that has a big hole in it. It will stay open if I don't jump on it. When I get it smashed I like to stick my head in the hole, crawl inside and then roll across the floor like a squirrel in a cage. Everyone laughs at me and the Danes keep wondering what is making that thing move! They can't see me! I love to burrow into holes and under blankets.

My Dane sister had to go to the doctor Friday. She came home and did not want to play. She smelled funny, has a sore on her belly and was very sleepy. I brought her a toy, but she just wanted to lay down with my mommy. Mommy even slept on the couch next to her Friday night, but she climbed up on mommy in the night, so after checking on them about every 10 minutes for 3 hours I finally decided to just crawl on the couch with them. Mommy finally got on the pad on the floor and let Gwynn and I sleep on the couch. Gwynn feels better today and we played for a little while, but mommy won't let Gwynn run or chase.

I get to go for a trip this weekend to Spokane and CDA. We have a different trailer to take than the one mommy has been cleaning. This one only has two couches, a few cabinets, a kitchen and a bathroom. The whole back of it opens up and you can walk up and down the door to get in and out. Bandit, my new brother, likes that because it is getting hard for him to walk up stairs. Mommy keeps telling me we will be getting lots of ribbons because I'm so pretty. I always stand on the table for her, just like she asks. I'm not as good at standing when I am in the grass. It tickles my belly. I plan to surprise her and stand really nice when we go to the show. I have a very straight back when I stand and I walk very, very nice on a leash. My daddy took me to a class the other night with lots of other dogs. I got to meet a Bassett named Mortimer. I think we will be friends because we will see each other every week for the next 8 weeks. We walk around on our leashes and have to stop, then go...they can't make up their minds! I do everything I'm told. I 'stay' when I'm told to also.

I plan to go to Filer, ID, June 13&14. We don't plan to go to Blackfoot because we have to go to Missoula, MT, June 25-27. I don't know if we will go to Brush Prairie or not. I know I would get to see all my brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mom says it is hard to beat the best of the best and she says she isn't a very good handler yet. July 22 & 23 I get to go to CDA again for a show. Mommy and I should be really good by then. I might go to meet my  mommy's grandkids in August. There is a show in Auburn and also in Lacey and they live very close to those places. I might get to see another friend there that I get to meet soon. His name is Henry. I've heard some wonderful things about him and his people.

I'm sorry to hear that Nichole's little boy isn't well. Mommy says she hopes Bandit is OK with all the traveling. He has cancer, too, but it has almost been a year since they found it. I hope he gets to stay with us a long time. He likes to play with me and squeak toys at me. I try to get them away from him, but he is very tall. Sometimes I just jump around in front of him and bark! Then I run between his legs and he can't catch me. I also bark when I play the tail game I learned from my big sister. She has a white thing she chases and she can catch it. I can't catch mine, so I lay down and bark at it!

Well, I need to take a nap with Daddy. I really like all those naps! He's nice and warm. I always let them know I'm comfortable by moaning. They laugh at me and moan back! We really have fun. I'll write again some day when I can get to the keyboard. Tell all my brothers and sisters, my mommy and daddy and all my cousins "hello" from Idaho. I like my new home and hope to have more fun every day.

All my licks and kisses,
Bethany (Annie)

Dear Mom and Rusty (the computer guy),

I tried writing a letter many times, but the keyboard is upside down and it's so difficult to find the correct keys. My new mommy made me a pad, so I won't get my belly cold when I'm typing. I'm totally addicted to the computer. Do they have a support group for Dachshund computer nerds? Does Henry surf the net?

I hope to seen Henry in Spokane or CDA next weekend.

All my licks and kisses,
Bethany (Annie)

Dear Annie (Bethany),

Henry is totally jealous that you have a pad to keep you warm when you're using the computer.  Henry would like to start a support group called DachsNerds for doxies who surf the Web.

Mom (Miki) was right, one day you guys were gonna figure out how this whole Internet thing works and take over the world.  Guess its already started.

Henry will be at Spokane and Coeur d'Alene next weekend.  He has a special present for his favorite Idaho sister.  See you and your people next weekend.

Licks n kisses,

Henry

Hi Anne and Henry, it is me, Helen Hound from Portland.  My new mommy named me Helen because I don't think she could pronounce the one that my Grandma Miki gave me.

I am a little jealous of you Henry.  You get to go every where with your Dad and Mom.  When my mommy gets on the computer I sit on her lap and read about all of your wins.  I am quite proud of my half brother!

I have not been living with my new mommy for very long but I love it at my new house.  I have 4 adopted siblings that I have to be nice to because Mommy says so.  One of them is Lydia Louise, she is my favorite to play with.  My mommy gets up real early and she gets me up too.  I get to have some private time with Mommy.  She holds me and rubs my tummy which I really like.  When she leaves she puts me back in my crate in her bedroom which is right next to Lydia Louise.  My new Daddy gets up later and lets all of us out.  Lydia and I run through the house and play while Daddy gets ready for work.  I try to not do as Daddy says all of the time just to get a rise out of him.  :-)

I can't wait for Mommy to come home because she is always playing with me or rubbing my tummy.  Mommy told me I would get to see Grandma Miki in a couple of weeks.  She told me she was taking me to go smell the bunnies.  I kind of like doing that and it seems to make Mommy happy.  I get to sleep with her on the bed then too.  Hopefully I get to see you both soon.

lots of kisses

Helen

Dear lady who dog-sits me with all of the fun girls to play with except the one who whooped my butt the other day (she's kinda mean) her name is Olivia but that's not what I call her.

I was just laying on my couch watching Law and Order with mom and I decided to drop you a line.  Not that I can't tell you in person when I come Thursday, but I should probably practice my typing skills so I'll do it this way.  Besides, I'm way to busy with my "girlfriends" when I'm at your house to be bothered with heart to heart conversations.  No offense or anything they just run faster than you and they can keep up with me.

Anyway, on to my problems.   Everything is changing at my house these days.  First mommy and daddy decorated one of the bedrooms, but I don't think they did it for me.  My name is B-U-G-S-Y and they hung E-M-M-A on the wall.  What's up with that?  Oh and there is this crazy looking bed in there.  It kinda looks like a jail, it has these bars on it.  Weird huh?  It's too tall for me to get into so I haven't been able to check it out yet.  I do go under it though.  It's a tight squeeze but I can make it.  I haven't found anything interesting under there yet.  But I have this strange feeling that I will someday.  Oh and there is this box in there that has all sorts of neat toys in it.  But I'm not allowed to play with them.  I stole one the other day though, and it made really cool noises.  It crinkled and squeaked and rattled.  Do you think you can tell mom and dad to get me one of my own.  I don't think I can resist the urge to kill this toy and I don't really want to get into trouble.  And if I have my own that won't be a problem.  If you could do that I would really appreciate it.   Do you think that all of this stuff at my house has something to do with my weekly trips to your place?  I know that something big is gonna happen soon but I can't quite put my paw on it yet.  I'll let you know when I figure it out OK.

Today when I was napping on my recliner I heard mommy talking on the phone.  She said "I need to make an appointment for my dog."  Why does she keep calling me a dog?  I'm not a dog, I'm a Dachshund...we're not dogs.  Anyway then she said...gulp..."for a rabies shot".  I was kinda excited until she said rabies shot.  I thought I was gonna go somewhere cool.  But it turns out I'm going to the VET!  Last time I was there they MADE me take a nap and when I woke up I was missing two teeth.  I'm afraid of that place now.  What if they take me there and MAKE me take a nap and I wake up missing two other very important things.  That would be very bad.  This one time it snowed at my house and I got play in it and I lost them.  I was so scared, I searched the whole house and just when I had given up all hope they turned up.  What if I loose them for good?  That would be bad.  Mom keeps saying that I will someday, but hopefully she'll forget all about that nonsense.  That would just be cruel.  Wish me luck with this vet thing.  Keep your fingers crossed that all I get is a shot, and nothing worse happens to me.

Well I better get going.  Mommy says that we're going to town after while, and I need to eat first.

  See yah Thursday,
         Bugsy

Dear Miki,

This is me--your best girl, Heart.  At last, there's a place for us to
tell it like really is.

Oh sure, my new Mom goes on the Yahoo site all
the time and laughs and tells us all the news, but that's not quite the
same.

Anyway, Gretchen (sister of Annie and Helen) is always hogging
Donnelen's lap when she's on the computer--she thinks she's the queen
of the house, but we all know I am.  Right now, she and Whimsie are
having a great after breakfast nap.

Whimsie is always so hungry when
she wakes up and sometimes her rumbly tummy wakes me up.  Donnelen says
she likes to wake up with me because I give good kisses and she
especially likes the little raspy/throaty noise I make.  She says it
sounds like I'm laughing.

Well, this is all for now...I'm feeling a
little nappy myself and will go join Whimsie and Gretchen.  We like to
crowd into a comfy chair and snuggle as close together as we can.

Love, Heart (Whimsie and Gretchen too)

Dear Gramma Miki,
I finally figured out what all of the huh bub has been about around here.  I don't have enough time to tell yah about it with all of my new duties around here so I'll just attach a picture (figured that trick out yesterday...Hey Henry figured that one out yet?)

P.S.  Thanks for letting me stay over when mommy and daddy went to get my new friend.

Check out our myspace....http://www.myspace.com/jeremyandkatie  it's pretty cool!!!

Hey everybody, it's me, Henry...and brother Lewis too. My Mom and
Dad took me to see my brother Lewis this weekend at the Yakima
Valley KC show.

Our humans had more fun than us dogs....and that's not right!!! If
it weren't for us Sausage Dogs/Phoenix Kids....they' d just be
boring people. But no....first they go out Friday night to a really cool
Mexican resturant and get fish tacos, margaritas, and beer. All us
dog's got for dinner was the same ole stuff.

Then on Saturday we went to the show. Brother Lewis has a real
cool motorhome rig. He got to sit and watch his Brother Henry show.
And then we got to go for walks in the warm sunshine. We like
sunshine. It feels good.

On Sunday, we got to go for walks in the park with our Dads. We
had fun acting like tought guy boys, snarling, growling...all the macho

boy stuff. Our Dads just laughed at us trying to be tough guys.

Sunday, Henry won BOV and Lewis made his Dad video tape Henry in
group. Lewis sez real dogs do Agility. Maybe he's right, it does
sound like fun. Lewis Mom told my Dad to take me to an Agility
class so I could be like Lewis. My Dad laughed. Can somebody tell
me what's so funny? I'd love to see how funny Henry's Dad would
look chasing Henry around the Agilty ring.

Guess that's all folks. Ole Henry is really tired. Me and Lewis
and our people had a fun time. The Yakima show is a really great
show and we'll go back next year.

Gonna be in Puyallup next weekend with Sister Vicki and Brother
Leo. And then it'll be off to Montana on our big adventure.

 Later,
 Henry

Hi Henry,

It was sure good to see you and your people in Yakima this weekend.
It was pretty exciting with all the people, dogs, rain and sunshine.
I really enjoyed our growling and barking at one another and making
our Dads laugh. They didn't realize we were just putting on! I'm
glad our people all got along so well and had so much fun together.
We should let them get together again soon (if they behave).

I'm sorry Uncle Rusty had a tough day Saturday. I hope his shirt
comes back from the cleaners OK.

I was really proud of you for taking variety on Sunday. I told all
my friends that my little brother is really a cool dog and even hunts
bunnies in addition to being a champion. You had Uncle Rusty walking
much better on Sunday in Group. You'll get him trained Ok, just be
patient. Maybe my Mom can teach you guys how to do agility!

I really hope we can get together again soon.

My Dad said he's sending your Dad some videos of you in group
See you soon

Your Bro

Lewis.

Hi everyone, mom is outside and I got out of the kennel 'cause I heard that all my brothers and sisters were emailing each other. I'm not gonna be left out! Mom's got me stuck out in the kennels with all the peons......I don't know why 'cause I should be in the house.

And there's this red dog "Hampton" in our house and yard. He and Elizabeth were doing something bad (Liz says it will get her into the house before me), I don't know why. He better not look my way, I'll tear his face off!!!!!!   Anyway I have been digging, digging, digging.......mom says she wants the foxtails gone and seems to think they are on the ground so I keep digging for them.   I really don't know what she's talking about, I haven't seen any foxes around here, just stupid coyotes.   Whoops, here comes mom, gotta go, more later.

Marilyn

Hey Marilyn...this is Henry.

Way to go girl....you finally got on email.   Ya know we Sausage Dogs are the smartest hounds on the planet...and now we know how to get on the Internet....it's only a matter of time til the Humans are in the Kennels and us Sausage Dogs are in the house.....(evil laughter....loud howling)

Now all we gotta do is figure out the telephone thing so we can order pizza.

Hello, my name is Daisy and I found out I can lay on my new friends pad
in front of the computer and get online, too! I'm not a Sausage dog,
but my friend, Annie, is and I like her. Yesterday, she scared me
because she wanted to wrestle and play. I got lots of food and a good
nights sleep, went out and pottied and got lots of praise. Today we
both want to wrestle and play and we are having fun. You Sausage dogs
are bigger than me, but really nice and share your toys. You even share
laps, so I have a warm body to sleep with. I got to meet the big dogs
today! Whew, we are talking BIG! They were really nice to me, too. I
growled and barked at them to let them know to keep their distance
until I figure this all out. Well, I just got another handfull of food.
These people really like to feed me. Now its time for a nice nap.

It's nice to read letters from Marilyn and Henry. I wonder what
Humphrey was doing? Is he a Sausage dog or a Jagie dog? No foxes, huh?
Keep digging, you are bound to find one eventually if they are out
there.

Ok, I finally figured out this computer thing.  My mommy took me and my sissy, Liaka (non-Sausage girl) to the vet today to have our teeth cleaned.  I LOVE going to see Dr. Dan and his friends!!  Mommy says the trip to the vet is usually not supposed to be fun but I love it because everyone thinks I am soooo cute and sweet.  They told my mommy that my teeth are so beautiful.  My sissy had to get her teeth cleaned AND have several lumps removed, she doesn't feel so great tonight.  I'm a little sleepy but I'll be back to myself tomorrow.  Oh one more thing, my other sissy, she's really BIG (Mastiff) Gracie had to have an operation on her knee yesterday so mommy says she can't play with us for 8-10 weeks!!!  What will I do without getting to chase my biggest sissy in the yard and then end by kissing those big lips???  Well , I'm a bit sleepy so I'll go for now.  Kissies and huggles to all my Sausage kin...

Hi guys Milo here.

My mom and I and Maude fell asleep watching  a movie about some short guy (kind of like me) with a high voice (kind of like me) who wrote a “fa-mouse”  book about a murder in Kansas (well not like me but there is a connection).   Anyway,  we finally decided to really wake up and go outside to you know what before we went to our real bed.

Well Maude was quick with her business and Mom waited on the front porch for me for a long time….guess why?   I caught a furry live mammal and chomped his head…pretty cool.

I know some of you big guys like Kadenz and Henry have probably done this before but not me.  Well it was a little surprising and I wanted to show Mom and Maude so they would believe me…you know…Maude always thinks she knows everything.   So I brought it back in the house; all that was left was hind legs and tail.

Mom said I was a really good boy but I could not bring it to bed.  Maude was jealous….so I ran and put it in my crate in the back under the cushion.   Mom said I could leave it there for the night with the door closed so Maude won’t get it.   (Pretty nice huh?).  I was pretty thirsty after all that so I had a big drink of water.

Oops here comes Mom…better go.  She says we all have to go to bed now and that I better not call Ralph in the middle of the night or she is going to be mad at me….do you know who Ralph is???

R, M & M

Way to go Milo! This is Phoenix (your daddy).

Mom's asleep along with the rest of the girls in the bed.......I have to sleep  in my crate, not fair but I know how to work the door and thought I would get on the computer and add my 2 cents worth to these subversive communications.

I ran into a cat the other day! That thing better watch out the next time I see it! I didn't realize how big they are but I did get a mouth full of fuzz! If my legs were longer I would have had it! Wow! What a rush! Wonder how it would taste for dinner............anyway mom was proud of me for coming back when she called.

You kids keep up the good work as it sure makes my life easier. Mom just pats me on the head and says what a good dog I am for having such great kids.

Night all, gotta get some more zzzzzzz's.

Keep an eye out as these literary geniuses will certainly have more to say.....
