2006 Lewis report:
"This past weekend Lewis earned his 12th Double Q so we are now more than halfway to the MACH title.
But more exciting than that is that Lewis has now qualified for two
national agility events. First, he was one of the top 5 qualifiers
for the first AKC Invitational Agility event which is in Long Beach
in conjunction with the Eukanuba show this December.
For this they are taking the top five dogs in each breed.
Then, this past weekend we completed the requirements to qualify
for the AKC National Agility trial which is in Ohio next March. There
have only been a handful of dachshunds to attend this event over
the years so this is quite an accomplishment. To qualify you have to
earn 6 Double Q's and 300 MACH points in the qualifying period."

The latest from Lewis as reported by his owner Jan Farley:
"We spent this past weekend at an
agility trial in Elma, WA. On Saturday,
Lewis qualified in both events (even taking first place in Ex.
Standard) earning his 4th Double Q! Then on Sunday, he qualified again
in Excellent Standard to earn his MX (Master Agility) title!! So the
score for the weekend was one double Q, an MX title and 45 MACH
points! Doesn't get much better than that. "
